What you'll do:

As a Senior Accountant, you will serve an integral part of the ITS Finance team responsible for providing support to the HSC (Hospital Support Center) Information Technology Departments and various lines of businesses. Role will help maintain control over the general ledger accounting, assist with monthly closings and account analyses.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly ITS and Intercompany accounting journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Create, maintain, and reconcile expense allocations in various prepaid, ITS and Facility accounts, including the amortization schedule and journal entries.
  • Make recommendations and assist with presentations on financial actions and assisting with budgets.
  • Perform data pulls to assist business needs in various accounting software and platforms (including but not limited to Business Objects, SAP and Oracle etc.).
  • Create monthly financial reporting, including budget variance report.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end operations and reporting.
  • Maintains accounting controls by following Company standardized policies and procedures including company's capitalization guidelines.
  • Assist in business case developments and profitability analyses for ITS projects.
  • Provide support, reconciliations, and ad hoc analysis as needed to support internal & external audits.


Qualifications

What you'll need:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 4 years of related experience.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: CPA preferred but not required
