About the role:

As the Senior Analytics Analyst, you will serve clients and support Operations in delivering a relevant, concise, and clear message of site performance. The ideal candidate will be skilled at data analysis, problem solving, and data visualization. Natural curiosity, problem solving skills, prioritization skills, and ability to uncover data stories is a requirement for this role.

Essential Functions:
  • Collaborate with internal team members to deliver routine and ad hoc reports that illustrate program performance.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative data points to uncover data stories that help stakeholders address key business problems.
  • Convey relevant insights and recommendations to the Analytics Consultant as part of the data storytelling process.
  • Perform quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy of all reporting deliverables.
  • Serve as a liaison between Business Intelligence and Analytics to remediate reporting issues.
  • Adhere to service level agreements to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing for new reports and/or metrics.
  • Create ad hoc, claims-based, and routine EMR-based reports that adhere to Premise brand standards.
  • Proactively solve business problems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a mentor for junior analysts.


Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, healthcare, or analytics.
  • 3+ years of data analytics experience required
  • Experience within a healthcare organization preferred
  • Experience asking probing/clarifying questions to identify data elements required for reporting.
  • Experience visualizing ad hoc reporting data to ensure alignment with intended audience.


Preferred Experience:
  • Natural curiosity that drives you to uncover stories hidden within data.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical aptitude.
  • Proven ability to think outside of the box.
  • Ability to use statistical concepts to identify trends, find outliers, and summarize data.
  • Advanced skills with Excel (INDEX MATCH function, nested formulas, pivot tables) and familiarity with data visualization tools (Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Expertise to review/analyze large datasets within strict timelines (internal data, external claims data)
  • Ability to connect qualitative and quantitative information to uncover insights/recommendations to address business needs/problems.
  • Ability to work effectively with management and as part of a collaborative team to meet business objectives.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication skills.
