Compensation: $80,000-$93,000 annually

What We Are Looking For

The Senior Applications Analyst is responsible for fulfilling Tier 2 support and maintenance for all NOCO primary business applications. In this role, they will coordinate necessary activities between business line stakeholders, developers, and external vendors to assess, solve and implement application enhancements. They will ensure all application incidents/problems are appropriately logged, categorized, and diagnosed. Prompt resolution will be sought through documented procedures, workarounds, and collaboration or escalation to higher support tiers and vendors when needed.

What You Will Do
  • Support and maintain NOCO's primary business applications and workflows across the enterprise.
  • Work collaboratively with solution providers to track & resolve user issues.
  • Maintain communication between key customers and IT (Information Technology) to provide updates and information regarding technical issues related to primary business applications.
  • Work with department managers and staff to evaluate processes and automate workflows.
  • Coordinate and assist with unit testing and integrated application testing, including test plans and documentation.
  • Function as a liaison between key stakeholders, users, and the IT Project Management Office Team. Participate on project teams as assigned.
  • Provide in-depth analysis of the various user requirements and develop functional and technical specifications to solve the users' needs.
  • Work with stakeholders on designing solutions in the current environment and works with project teams on new applications in new environments.
  • Manage change control process for all aspects of primary business applications.
  • Maintain knowledge of NOCO work processes, information systems, applications, and integrations, including interfaces, databases, reports, and enhancements to optimize the user departments' successful operations.
  • Participate in Operational and/or Sales meeting to represent IT as the designated business partner.
  • Cover off-hour on-call paging for critical application support matters. (24/7)

What You Will Need
  • Bachelor's degree; computer science or business management major preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of software application support/design/analysis, Microsoft Dynamics experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of networked PC systems and applications
  • Effective communication skills (oral presentation, listening, written and follow-up skills)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to generate teamwork are essential.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems, and develop critical thinking skills.
  • Positive, collaborative, energetic attitude.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Accounting
  • Experience analyzing, testing, implementing, and maintaining networks, systems and applications
  • Implementing industry best practices in Application Management
  • Gathering and interpreting data
  • Should be able to express complex IT ideas clearly and in a way that laypeople can understand.
  • Proven record of accomplishment solving complex technical application-level problems
  • Technical knowledge of programming languages, integration, operating systems, and conversions
  • Commitment to integrity and ethical behavior and the proven ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 10 pounds at times
