Piper Companies is searching for a Senior Automation Engineer to join a company focused on delivering affordable and innovative drugs to patients worldwide in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area. The Senior Automation Engineer will join a brand new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility and will be the subject matter expert for the design and implementation of automation processes in the facility. The Senior Automation Engineer will be working on-site in the facility located in Holly Springs, NC.

Responsibilities for the Senior Automation Engineer include:
• Manage and maintain the implementation of automated processes for the manufacturing facility
• Develop and implement process improvements through the automation process control systems
• Provide trouble shooting support to engineering teams for automated production
• Communicate updates and implentations with suppliers and stake holders

Qualifications for the Senior Automation Engineer include:
• 4+ years of experience within automation processes
• 2+ years of proven experience with DeltaV preferred
• Experience with automation and controls in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline

Compensation for the Senior Automation Engineer include:
• Salary Range: $140,000/year - $170,000/year based on experience
