Trinity Industries is looking for a Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer in our Dallas, TX office.

As a Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of cloud services with a particular focus on Azure, ensuring operational excellence, efficiency, innovation, and system resilience. You will be part of a team of highly skilled professionals who provide technical services for the implementation, maintenance, and support of cloud services across the organization. You will also establish and enhance governance processes and policies to standardize and streamline service delivery, ensure sufficient resourcing, and comply with IT and audit requirements.

What you will do:
  • Design and deploy cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and services that meet organizational requirements
  • Manage Azure subscriptions and create and configure resource groups
  • Create and configure virtual networks, subnets, network interfaces, and network security groups
  • Implement and manage Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, Azure AD Identity Protection, and Azure AD Privileged Identity Management
  • Implement and manage Azure governance solutions, including policies, initiatives, and blueprints
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure, services, and applications using Azure Monitor, Azure Service Health, and Azure Advisor
  • Implement and manage Azure backup, Azure Site Recovery, and Azure Update Management
  • Use Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, Azure Resource Manager templates, and Azure Cloud Shell to automate and implement infrastructure as code
  • Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices of cloud services and technologies
  • Familiarity with the implementation, maintenance, and support of AWS cloud-based solutions


Qualifications
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • At least five years of relevant work experience administering and supporting cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
  • Familiarity with established best practices around cloud adoption framework
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services, features, tools, and architectures
  • Proficient in PowerShell, Bicep, Bash, CLI, and scripting languages
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
