The Role

Our Banking & Financial Services Consulting group is looking for a Manager Consulting to join our journey.

We're looking for Product Owners, Senior Consultants or Consulting Managers who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence, which are: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Manager, Consulting (which is a Senior Manager level position) this means a client-facing engagement, managing escalations, and serving as a the owner of a workstream; maintaining expertise in your domain; meaningfully contributing to the sales process through a mix of RPI development, client presentations, financial modeling, pricing strategy, and flawless delivery; creating service offerings and/or client partner training materials; and contributing to People Care initiatives, recruiting, and mentoring. Responsibilities
  • Working with clients to define the content strategy, goals, and standards for clients
  • Effectively manage engagement deliverables, risks and issues
  • Develop & document policies for managing digital content for clients
  • Ability to apply deep subject knowledge in the internal banking policy-making environment
  • Familiarity with Intranet / internet technologies and the related policy environments
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to convey trends and data analysis in verbal and visual mediums
  • Polished business writing skills; Abily to articulate thoughts into words; Familiar with policy documentation
  • Act as a trusted resource who understands client objectives, manages project, and leads team to deliver superior results
  • Identify and support areas to build practice capabilities and presence, support service line development and case studies through the gathering of industry best practices and self-knowledge


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent relevant experience, with additional certifications preferred, but not mandatory
  • 7+ years of business analysis experience in experience in the banking / financial services industry with focus on policy management activities
  • Demonstrated experience problem solving and developing products from scratch.
  • Experience with bringing together cross functional teams and leading execution in an agile delivery model.

  • Location: Charlotte, NC (can be remote if able to work PST hours)


Work Authorization

Salary and Other Compensation
  • The annual salary for this position is between $81,500 and $129,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of successful candidate.
  • This position is also elegible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
