*While the Hourly Rate is listed in between $38-45/hour, these candidates will be able to get paid time and a half for any hour worked over 40. (Average amounts of overtime is between 4-10 hours.)*

Insight Global are looking for a Senior Control Engineer that must be able to perform the design of control systems, from start to finish, as well as the engineering and field start up for the System Integration in the Electrical Controls Industry for manufacturing in Kansas City, MO. Demonstrated trouble shooting skills are absolutely necessary. As part of the automation control system design, this candidate will review specifications and adhere to standard practices. They will also create system maps, design PLC logic, and develop HMI screens. Additionally, they will handle field duties such as assisting with installations, conducting start-up and debugging activities, and providing launch and standby support at customer facilities. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with solid experience as a systems integrator, who is looking for career growth with a major organization. They will be able to work with a team but be expected to work independently as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

Education: Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor Science Electrical Engineering, or Bachelor Science Electrical Engineering & Technology, or equivalent relevant work experience with a technical degree
5+ years of industry experience working for a systems integrator;
Programming Knowledge (Rockwell PLC/HMIs are preferred but are open to similar softwares)
o RSLogix 5, 5000, RS Networx ,DriveExecutive, DriveExplorer, PanelBuilder PDS, 1400e; 32, RSView Studio

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Conveyors experience (digital process systems)
VFD is preferred (Rockwell preferred)
