Insight Global is looking for a Controls Engineer in Wentzville, MO. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Providing daily support for production operations, focusing on personnel and equipment safety, process quality, and uptime, with an emphasis on automation and controls.

Assist production and maintenance teams in troubleshooting equipment and process failures, identifying effective follow-up countermeasures. Execute kaizen projects to achieve departmental business objectives and continuously improve safety, quality, cost, and reliability. Review equipment operation and reliability, developing tracking methods where applicable. Ensure new and existing equipment meets operational requirements and appropriate standards. Maintain proper documentation (drawings, manuals, PM schedules, etc.) for all assigned equipment. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to equipment standards and legislative requirements. Collaborate with other Controls Engineers, Interns, and Maintenance Associates. Attend regular departmental meetings to provide technical insight and coordinate planning. Pay range is $38-60/hour

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or manufacturing engineering.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in automation controls.

Proficiency in Control Logix PLC programming.

Familiarity with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and HMIs.

General knowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly in the automotive industry.
