Job Summary

Strong Data Engineer with extensive experience in Data warehousing / ETL with working experience on DBT who can design and develop the data transformations for Group data consolidation platform built on Google Cloud.

Key Responsibilities - list what the person will be doing on a day-to-day basis:
• Assess, analyze, data ingestion, transformation & storage layers (RAW, Exploratory, Curated .application)
• Understand and provide inputs for STT documents.
• Design and develop the data transformations using DBT tool.
• Perform UT and validate the transformations.
• Deploy code using CICD pipelines built.

Essential Skills:
• Extensive ETL and Data warehousing experience
• Strong experience in DBT
• Google Cloud Services and BigQuery

Nice to Have Skills.
• Financial Domain Knowledge - Asset Management
• Programming Skills - Python or PySpark

Qualifications:
• Masters / bachelor's in engineering
• GCP Certifications

Salary and Other Compensation :

The annual salary for this position is between $ 130,000 USD - $ 140,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
