We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in AWS Machine Learning Statistics Azure Open AI Service and other advanced technologies. This role involves leveraging data to drive impactful decisions and innovations contributing to our company's growth and societal impact.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and deployment of machine learning models using AWS Machine Learning and Azure Open AI Service.
  • Oversee the execution of Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to uncover insights and inform strategic decisions.
  • Provide expertise in Airflow for orchestrating complex data workflows and pipelines.
  • Utilize Knowledge Graphs to enhance data relationships and improve search capabilities.
  • Implement ML Ops practices to streamline the machine learning lifecycle and ensure model reliability.
  • Drive the application of Cloud AutoML for automated model training and deployment.
  • Develop and maintain AI-enabled chatbots using Dialogflow to enhance customer interactions.
  • Apply OpenCV for computer vision tasks and improve image processing capabilities.
  • Leverage Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing to develop innovative solutions.
  • Utilize Deep Learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow for advanced model development.
  • Conduct statistical analysis using R Statistical Package to support data-driven decisions.
  • Develop and optimize machine learning algorithms in Python for various applications.
  • Implement Search Engine Optimization techniques to improve data discoverability and relevance.
Qualifications
  • Possess a strong background in AWS Machine Learning and Azure Open AI Service.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Statistics and Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA).
  • Have hands-on experience with Airflow and Knowledge Graphs.
  • Show proficiency in ML Ops and Cloud AutoML.
  • Be skilled in developing AI-enabled chatbots using Dialogflow.
  • Have experience with OpenCV and computer vision tasks.
  • Be knowledgeable in Artificial Intelligence Natural Language Processing and Deep Learning.
  • Be proficient in using PyTorch and TensorFlow for model development.
  • Have strong statistical analysis skills using R Statistical Package.
  • Be adept at programming in Python.
Certifications Required
  • AWS Certified Machine Learning Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate TensorFlow Developer Certificate

The annual salary for this position is between $133,000.00 - $156,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
