Senior DevOps Engineer

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in CxSAST DevOps and CI/CD for Salesforce With a focus on enhancing our software development lifecycle.

Location: Louisville, CO USA or Remote on USA
Responsibilities:

• Lead the integration of CxSAST tools into our development process to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities early.

• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines tailored for Salesforce ensuring seamless and automated deployment processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish DevOps best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Analyze existing software delivery workflows and propose optimizations for increased efficiency and reliability.

• Conduct thorough code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality and documentation.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to CxSAST DevOps and Salesforce.

• Mentor junior engineers sharing knowledge on best practices and technical skills.

• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in software engineering particularly in the areas of security scanning and DevOps.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to software development and data security.
Qualifications:

• the ideal candidate will bring 7 to 10 years of experience to drive innovation and efficiency in our projects. This role is pivotal in maintaining high-quality standards and accelerating our delivery timelines

• Must have a solid understanding of CxSAST and its application in a software development environment.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines specifically for Salesforce platforms.

• Strong background in DevOps methodologies and tools.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. -

• Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. -

• A commitment to continuous learning and improvement in both technical and soft skills.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field is preferred.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 6/21/2024

The annual salary for this position is between $43,900 - 120,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
