Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Facilities Water Technician to manage the operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our Ultrapure Water, Process Cooling Water, and Industrial Waste treatment systems. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to standard operating procedures, including performing laboratory tests and process instrumentation correlations.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Operation & Maintenance:
  
  • Operate and maintain Ultrapure Water, Process Cooling Water, and Industrial Waste treatment systems.
  • Initiate automatic feeding of solid and liquid materials through equipment units such as heating and cooling vessels, mixing tanks, ion exchange beds, and filter presses.
  • Adjust controls to manage the flow of liquids and gases through equipment, ensuring proper timing and sequence.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
  
  • Observe gauges, signals, and recording instruments to regulate temperatures, pressures, and chemical flows.
  • Perform diagnostic and troubleshooting practices to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to maintain system operations.
  • Conduct emergency and corrective maintenance to repair damaged equipment or correct out-of-spec conditions.
• Testing & Quality Control:
  
  • Collect and test samples at specified stages to ensure processes align with plant standards.
  • Monitor and document process conditions, including performing temperature, pH, and gas analyses.
  • Maintain logs of equipment performance and process deviations.
• Safety & Compliance:
  
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and manufacturer specifications for equipment operation, maintenance, and environmental protection.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
  • Participate in safety drills and Emergency Response Team activities as needed.
• Additional Duties:
  
  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements, safety measures, and material or tool enhancements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Technical Expertise:
  
  • Proficient in RO technology, Ion Exchange, and industrial pumping and filtration systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Solid understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Personal Attributes:
  
  • Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and engineers.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with corporate email, spreadsheets, and engineering databases.

  • Must demonstrate honesty, trustworthiness, and respect for others.
  • Capable of working independently with effective time management skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime or be on-call as needed for business or emergency purposes.
