About the role

Join the dynamic Roku TV FP&A team as a Senior Financial Analyst and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Roku TV, especially as we expand internationally. This role offers a unique blend of strategic oversight and hands-on execution, making it perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys both high-level analysis and the intricacies of financial systems. You'll provide crucial financial insights to key leaders and drive financial systems automation to support the scaling of our rapidly growing business. For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $130,000 and $135,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. What you'll be doing

Strategic Financial Leadership
  • Lead financial planning across various functional areas including sales, marketing, and business development
  • Partner strategically with leaders throughout Roku to drive future business success and position Roku TV as a global leader

Analytical Decision Making
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify issues, develop hypotheses, and translate data into actionable insights
  • Present compelling recommendations to the Roku TV leadership to inform strategic decisions

Financial Systems and Process Innovation
  • Serve as the financial systems lead, identifying and implementing automation opportunities to enhance scalability and efficiency
  • Analyze processes and system changes to support the growth trajectory of Roku TV

Operational Finance Management
  • Manage the month and quarter-end close processes, including preparing accruals and updating forecast model
  • Conduct variance analyses and partner with budget owners to manage OPEX and forecast future spend

Reporting and Communication
  • Prepare insightful monthly and quarterly management reports for Roku International TV business stakeholders
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and undertake special projects as required to support strategic initiatives


We're excited if you have
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related analytical discipline; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., MBA, CPA) are a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, business operations, or analytics, preferably within a high-growth tech environment
  • Proven ability to think critically across various business dimensions (sales, product, marketing) and collaborate effectively in a matrixed organization
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial planning systems such as Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, and NetSuite
  • Strong analytical skills with a passion for data-driven decision-making; additional experience with SQL, Looker, or Python is highly desirable
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships and influence outcomes across departments
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in a dynamic and complex environment
