Under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager I, of the Information Technology Services Division (ITSD), the incumbent would function as a Senior Full Stack Developer, for CSAC's Application Services section under the ITSD Production branch, providing leadership and expertise independently, with a team, or leading a team.
Duties would involve strategizing and formulating architecture solutions and policies for CSAC. Acts as expert and lead working on the IT Application Support, leading application development and maintenance of the complex applications at CSAC and ensuring they operate and deliver the expected functionalities and meet the requirements for CSAC's business.
This position will remain open until this position is filled, with cutoff dates for review each friday, beginning with May 3, 2024.

Working Conditions
This position is eligible for hybrid telework and may report to an office 2-3 days per week, under California Government Code Section 14200. Telework-eligible applicants must reside in California.
The selected candidate may be required to conduct business travel on behalf of the Department or commute to the headquartered location. Business travel reimbursements considers an employee's designated Headquarters Location, primary residence, and may be subject to California Department of Human Resources regulations or applicable bargaining unit contract provisions. All commute expenses to the headquartered location will be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
Employee's work is to be performed within an office environment, may work remotely, and is equipped with standard or ergonomic office equipment, as needed. Attend meetings in designated conference rooms and be willing to travel to off-site locations. The work environment is fast-paced and requires considerable flexibility in managing time, multiple challenging priorities, and assignments.

- You have experience with Object Oriented frameworks and working with Java and Angular.
- You have Identity Management and API Manager experience on products like WSO2.
- You have experience working in an Agile environment.
- You have a good understanding of SOA, Microservice architecture and API's.
- You have unit and system testing experience.
- You have experience with the Service Now ticketing system.
- You understand and can create design documents such as Data Modeling and UML diagrams.
- You have strong organizational and planning skills, including the ability to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities, work under pressure, meet deadlines, in a fast-paced and small-team atmosphere.
