Senior Full Stack Developer (React/Java)

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join one of their top financial clients in New York City. This individual will be going the Global Commercial Services technology team. Currently, this team is balancing many greenfield projects stemming from acquisition efforts. Most projects are focused on the integration of products, with a long term road map focused on redesign efforts that will fully optimize these products in line with the enterprise vision and strategy. We are seeking someone who can thrive in a fairly ambiguous and creative environment with a changing road map. This role is about a 70/30 split between front end and backend development, focused on React and Java. This is a high level individual contributor role, with about 80% of the role focused on true coding and design. The other 20% will lean more towards leadership and invoking best practices, whether by mentoring junior developers or recommending new solutions for best code and integrations. We are seeking someone who can deliver day to day but is not shy to recommend new ideas.

Starting base salary is $110K.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years experience as a front end focused OR full stack developer
- Proficient with React (should have the most recent five years experience focused with React
- Back end Java development experience
- Experience with CI/CD best practices enhancing pipelines, creating new ones
- Experience taking initiative both from a technical and leadership standpoint (prior experience leading creative design and architecture, mentoring junior members, recommending best practices)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience within banking or financial services
- Prior experience working within a heavily regulated environment
- Experience to TypeScript
