As the Senior HD Pharmacy Technician, you will be asked to shadow to demonstrate what right looks like as a fully proficient Technician. Positively contributes to overall team motivation and drives team engagement. As permitted by state regulation, interprets providers' prescriptions, and creates order, assesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription, medical/lab and reimbursement information from computer system.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm CST w/potential weekend shifts based on business needs

Location: Remote in the state of Illinois or Iowa

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Customer onboarding
  • Prescription requests
  • Entry, billing, and submittal of the customer's order to fulfillment for delivery
  • assist with operations support, training, and process improvements
  • Contribute to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team content
  • Creation/ routing of pharmacy orders through receipt
  • Review and verification of members'/patients' prescriptions
  • Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data submit prescription orders in computer system
  • May contact members/patients/providers to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order or delivery details

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 3+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Current Pharmacy Technician state license in state of residence OR National Certification without restrictions based on regulatory requirements of worksite OR the ability to obtain licensing within 1 year of employment
  • Must live in state of Iowa or Illinois
