Job Summary:

As a member of the Client of companies, the Sr HR Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing and presenting employee data to improve workforce decisions in innovative ways that drive business performance and growth. 

This role involves collaborating with HR partners and business stakeholders to identify critical questions, design and execute analysis plans, and translate findings into actionable recommendations. 

The focus spans across the talent lifecycle, including workforce planning, diversity, organizational effectiveness, and retention.




Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with HR partners and cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Legal, Sales, Marketing, M&A) to translate business needs into HR analytics projects.
  • Develop reports in Workday to support analytics projects and stakeholders.
  • Design and enhance Power BI dashboards using data visualization best practices.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by developing a deep understanding of HR data sources.
  • Maintain recurring analytic deliverables, including Employer of Choice Reporting, Talent Acquisition Staffing Models, and Monthly Business Review Materials.
  • Prepare and stage data for analysis, including data wrangling, cleaning, transforming, merging, and modeling.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends and correlations in workforce metrics.
  • Proactively identify workforce challenges and opportunities through predictive and prescriptive analytics.
  • Present data-driven insights through visually compelling stories and deliver presentations summarizing findings.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in HR analytics and recommend new tools and techniques to enhance the team’s capabilities.




Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in data and analytics.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and analysis tools such as Power BI, Looker Studio, Qlik, or Tableau.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills to communicate complex concepts to senior leaders and non-experts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including PivotTables and Vlookup.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure with competing priorities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure data security and privacy.




Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience developing custom Workday reports.
  • Familiarity with coding languages like SQL, Python, or R.
  • Experience with Google Big Query and building/optimizing data warehouses, pipelines, and models.
  • Experience with Workday Analytics (Dashboards, Discovery Boards, Prism, Benchmarking).




Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
