Silotech Group is recruiting for an Information Assurance Specialist to perform certification and accreditation (C&A) to assist establishment of a Capability Portfolio Management (CPM) program providing Enterprise Architecture (EA) support for Air Force Installation & Mission Support Center (AFIMSC).

This job opportunity is for a proposal contract. Expected award late 2024.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Perform activities related to acquiring, renewing, or sustaining system certification and accreditation (C&A), certificate of networthiness (CoN), authority to connect (ATC), authority to operate (ATO), etc.
  • Ensure geospatial systems are compliant with information security policy and/or standards.
  • Experience with the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), Risk Management Framework (RMF), Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), etc.
  • Ensure the portfolio of information systems under their purview are functional and secure.
  • Help develop and/or interpret enterprise information assurance and security standards and/or procedures.
  • Recommend information assurance/security solutions to support customers' requirements.
  • Identify, report, and resolve security violations.
  • Establish and satisfy information assurance and security requirements based on the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.
  • Support customers at the highest levels in the development and implementation of doctrine and policies.
  • Ability to work independently and/or lead a team of more junior Information Assurance/Security Specialists.
  • Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication.

Qualifications:

Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Experience:
  • 7+ years experience in IA/Cybersecurity realm.

Certifications:
  • CISSP or similar required.
