Senior Internal Auditor

About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading public manufacturing company, is looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their dynamic team. In this pivotal role, the Senior Internal Auditor will contribute significantly to strengthening the company`s internal audit function. This essential team member will work across the organization to drive impactful audit outcomes.

Salary: $115,000-$120,000
Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various internal audits to support independent advisory functions.
• Build and maintain relationships with various levels across the organization.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure execution of the company`s business imperatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve business operations.
• Ensure completion of high-quality integrated walkthrough documentation, demonstrating an understanding of business operations, reliance on key reports, identification of risks, and design of controls.
• Analyze business processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Execute SOX 404 control testing.
• Draft and present reports on audit findings.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in internal audit with a public company or audit firm.
• Bachelor's or Master`s degree in Accounting.
• CPA and/or CIA certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with auditing standards, COSO control framework, and Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) internal controls.
• Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred.
