Baer is looking for Senior Java Developer for a 3-month Federal Remote Project.

Title: Senior Java Developer
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 3 months
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C (Vendors Not Permitted)
Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web application front ends using Angular JS.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure technical feasibility and high-quality user experiences.
• Develop back-end microservices using Java Spring Boot.
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them on Kubernetes clusters.
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.
• Work with Oracle databases to design, develop, and maintain database schemas.
• Write efficient SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation
• Develop Java programs to read/write data to Kafka (Confluent Kafka).
• Configure and manage Kafka Connectors to integrate various data sources and sinks.
• Ensure data integrity and seamless data flow between systems.
• Utilize JavaScript and related technologies to enhance front-end functionality.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

Required Experience:

• Proficiency in Angular JS for front-end development.
• Extensive experience with Java Spring Boot for back-end development.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Solid experience with Oracle databases and SQL.
• Expertise in developing and managing Kafka (Confluent Kafka) applications.
• Familiarity with configuring Kafka Connectors.
• Strong skills in both front-end (Angular, JavaScript) and back-end (Java Spring Boot, microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, Oracle, SQL) development.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Proven experience in developing scalable and efficient web applications.???????
