Senior Java Developer

A client of Insight Globals is looking for a Java Developer to join their team. You will provide technical guidance, design, development, and maintenance and lead large technical initiatives for the companies Auto Finance Front End and Finance Back End systems portfolio, comprised of various billing, finance, and commissions systems. They are in the process of rebranding/rewriting their payment process UI and most of their projects are for large programs and take 7-10 months. This role will be 80% development and 20% dedicated to managing the Jira tasks for other developers on the team + overseeing them. You will work closely with Software Engineers and Architects in the development of system components. pay rate 75-80/hr perm salary conversion 150,000 + potential bonus

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of Java development experience 60% front end and 40% back end
Spring Boot
Strong Angular, SQL, and JavaScript
Experience with AWS cloud development practices including EKS, EC2, SQS, and SNS

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Control M batch scheduling or batch automation experience
Professional experience with Insurance or Financial Services
Understand technical controls, security concepts, and SOX requirements
