Senior Liferay Front-End Developer

Job Summary

Cognizant is looking for a Senior Liferay Front-End Developer with at least 8-10 years of experience in developing customized product for our clients. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.

Location: Rochester, NY (Remote)

Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality, engaging, and relevant content for the organization's website, intranet, or other digital platforms. Develop content strategies to meet business objectives and target audience needs.
• Organize and structure content using Liferay's content management system (CMS) and taxonomy. Ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and consistent with the organization's brand and tone. Manage content workflow, including reviewing, approving, and publishing content.
• Regularly update and maintain existing content to ensure it remains relevant and accurate. Monitor and respond to comments, feedback, and reviews on published content.
• Work closely with other teams, such as design, development, and marketing, to ensure content meets business objectives and aligns with overall strategy.
• Develop and implement content strategies to achieve business goals and engage target audiences. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve content creation and management.
• Optimize content for search engines (SEO) by using relevant keywords, meta tags, and descriptions. Ensure content is accessible and usable for diverse audiences, including people with disabilities. Use analytics tools to track content performance and make data-driven decisions.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Application for this role will be accepted till July 5th2024. The annual salary for this position is between $52,000- $137,600 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
