Senior Linux Administrator

Our federal client is seeking a Sr. Linux Administrator to join their team. This is a W2 contract and will be 100% onsite in Kingstowne, VA. This does also require an ACTIVE secret clearance.

Job Title: Sr. Linux Administrator

Location: Kingstowne, VA (100% onsite)

Pay Range: $70-$75/hr

What's the Job?

The Sr. Linux Administrator will work as a member of the Cloud Infrastructure team providing O&M support for RHEL servers within an AWS cloud environment. Responsibilities include server provisioning, backup and recovery, patching, STIG application, troubleshooting, user account maintenance, scripting, and technical documentation.

Role Requirements:
BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience; RHEL 7/8/9; AWS Cloud;
Required to be in the office 5 days a week, at Kingstowne in Alexandria. Interim DoD Secret Clearance at a minimum, is required. CompTIA Security+ or equivalent is required but can be obtained within the first few months.
