Sr. Linux Administrator

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr. Linux Administrator to support a flourishing federal IT provider. The Sr. Linux Administratoris responsible for leading the cloud infrastructure team in providing operations and maintenance support for DoD Red Hat Linux servers.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Linux Administrator Includes:

• Lead/mentor the RHEL systems administation team in all aspects of O&M inlcuding server provisioning, backup & recover, patching troubleshooting, user account maintenance, scripting and technical documentation.
• Support and optimize RHEL in AWS cloud environment.
• Provide scrpiting/automation solutions utilzing Bash or Ansible
• Support and maintain STIG application.

Qualifications for the Sr. Linux Administrator Includes:

• 10+ years of Red Hat Linux system adminstration experience
• Experience with RHEL 7/8/9
• Proven leadership experience of RHEL server support is required
• AWS cloud experience is required
• RHEL certifications is highyly preferred
• Active Secret Clearance is required
• Bachelor's degree is preferred
• This work is to be performed on-site out of Alexandria, VA.

Compensation for the rSr. Linux Administrator Includes:

• Salary Equivalent Range: $170,000 - $180,000+ *depending on experience and education*
