Senior Manager - Management Consulting Firm (New York, NY)

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support a variety of client engagement delivery and work collaboratively with senior client stakeholders
  • Provide high quality analysis, support, and deliverables to clients
  • Communicate findings, data insights and signals to internal and client stakeholders
  • Manage client relationships and provide accurate, timely communication throughout the engagement lifecycle
  • Drive and steer development of dashboards and reports with associated messaging up to Board-level
  • Define ongoing requirements to maintain and extend dashboards, including data sourcing for future signaling and reporting
  • Assess data quality and appropriateness of inputs underlying key KPIs/KRIs
  • Communicate findings, data insights and signals
  • Conduct detailed business analysisincluding data interpretation and trend identification
  • Conduct current state assessmentsincluding gap analysisand requirements gathering / documentation
  • Understand complex system and data architecture, to analyze pain points and identify process improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with multiple teams (operations, technology, etc.) and projects to clearly define and track dependencies
  • Assist in developing thought leadership and building solutions and methods
  • Develop strong trusted advisor relationships with our clients
  • Identify opportunities for new business and support bid teams with proposals
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality technical offerings

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong expertise in capital markets, capital markets technology, and/or data and analytics domains with exposure to a wide variety of projects and businesses.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau
  • Analytics skills and exposure to a variety of tools and technologies, specifically SQL and SQL Server experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to tailor to both technical and Board-level audiences
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an entrepreneurial, team environment
  • High energy, drive, integrity, and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to travel as required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with database and schema design
  • Experience in Information Security or Cyber Security
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau
  • Strong understanding of data science basics
  • Experience with lending/capital markets and the supporting business systems and processes
  • Strong data modeling skills in Excel and experience with data mapping and redacting

EDUCATION
  • A bachelor's degree or higher with a strong GPA in an analytical or technical discipline including but not limited to finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, or other advanced analytical degrees
  • Strongly preferred a Master of Business Administration or other advanced analytical degree from an elite business school or graduate university.
