The Senior Manager - IT Program Management will provide the project resources and project management to implement software application/system requirements of prioritized business and IT projects for large area of business covering several business or IT disciplines. With general direction, you will lead multiple programs across various platforms ensuring the strategic goals and objectives are successfully achieved. Complexity and business impact may vary greatly. You will establish program objectives, manage project manager(s), develop budgets, evaluate progress, and provide regular Executive Team status updates with a focus on the company's strategic and the specific projects’ tactical goals. Location: Remote (US BASED ONLY) - Plymouth, MN

What you will do:

• Deliver operational excellence by planning, organizing, and managing staff and overall operations to ensure the stable and secure operation of Daikin Applied’s IT functions pertaining to business functional areas
• Lead project groups, teams, and collaborates at the Platform/IT Domain level with multiple functions to develop, refine and deploy Digital IT Strategic roadmaps that maximize the value of the business and profitability of new business and IT capabilities
• Works closely with the IT and Business leaders to plan future project implementation schedule, prioritize existing programs/projects, manage the portfolio of programs/projects and provides input on the overall strategy
• Rigorously manages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed on-time, on cost and quality parameters
• Lead stage-gate reviews for program/project progress and funding approval
• Successfully manage the relationship with key stakeholders
• Add value to the business by assisting the CIO and CTO with strategic IT planning, with global considerations, using the creative application of IT and technology to advance the business towards its goals
• Support business activity by providing project resources and project management to implement the requirements of prioritized business and IT projects.
• Define IT strategy for supported area of business
• Manage the day-to-day operation and support of Business functional areas (may include P&L responsibility)
• In conjunction with the IT leadership, design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to ensure IT functions for business functional areas meets existing and future requirements
• Participate in the development of overall IT strategies in collaboration with IT Leadership

Minimum Qualifications:

• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
• 4 Year Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related field
• 8+ Years of IT Program Management experience
• Executive-level communication skills - verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with large scale SAP implementations
• Experience with large scale Service Now implementations
• IT Project Management Certifications

Salary Range: 145k-165k base plus 20% annual bonus eligibility
