Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Talent Business Partner (TBP) to join Procore's Global Talent Organization. In this role, you will support the Product and Technology (P&T) organization. Procore aims to improve the lives of everyone in construction and the people within Product & Technology are the driving force behind our innovative, top-rated global platform. We're a customer-centric group that encompasses engineering, product, product design and data, security and business systems.

In this TBP role, you will design, own and drive critical talent initiatives for P&T. You'll partner with COEs within the Global Talent Organization, other Talent Business Partners, and Business Leaders to deliver a talent strategy that elevates the employee experience and drives key business results.

This position reports to the Director, TBP Lead for Global Product and Technology and is located in Austin, TX. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you'll do:
  • Gain a deep understanding of the business and work proactively with leaders on workforce challenges and strategy, aligning talent priorities with business objectives to transform, and scale the organization
  • Be proactive by anticipating future needs and trends and developing strategies to support long-term organizational success.
  • Align talent initiatives with the overall business strategy, ensuring that our practices contribute to the achievement of key objectives.
  • Identify root causes of organizational challenges and develop innovative solutions to address them. Approach problems with a strategic mindset, seeking opportunities for improvement and driving continuous innovation.
  • Support the development and execution of talent management processes, including performance review cycles, promotions, compensation reviews, talent reviews, and succession planning
  • Coach, advise and empower leaders to effectively lead and develop talent. For example, building bench strength, developing manager capabilities, identifying growth opportunities.
  • Assess organizational development needs and provide partnership and support in the areas of organizational effectiveness, organizational design, organizational health, and change management
  • Analyze data, trends, and metrics to drive insights, develop recommendations and solutions, and influence decision-making
  • Support and be an advocate of enterprise-wide talent priorities, including Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB), and serve as a steward of Procore's culture
  • Collaborate closely and effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring close alignment and consistent communication
  • Collaborate with other talent business partners and business leaders in a matrixed, global support model

What we're looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Labor and Industrial Relations or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years as an HR Business Partner specifically supporting Product, Design, Engineering or Enterprise Tech at a global tech company with 3000+ employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale processes and organizations in a SaaS or technology environment
  • Experience working in a globally matrixed (business/geography) HR model collaborating with functional leaders and geographically based HR and business partners
  • Experience designing and driving complex change programs at scale
  • Proven track working with developing a talent strategy that aligns with business objectives
  • Experience managing complex and sensitive employee issues
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging strong business acumen to coach, advise and influence outcomes.
  • Ability to turn insights into actions, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Experience planning and delivering end to end projects in TBP space with effective stakeholder management, understanding of dependencies, managing risks and issues.
  • Experience directly supporting VP and SVP level business leaders and/or interfacing with C-suite leaders.
  • Successful in establishing relationships and managing stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including collaboration across people and business teams, regardless of organizational and geographical boundaries
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience delivering executive level messaging
  • Experience providing leadership to or managing one or more HR professionals


Additional Information

Base Pay Range $142,000 - $195,000 plus Bonus Eligible. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
