The role you'll contribute:

The Senior Manager of Transportation responsible for managing departmental day-to-day operations. Oversees the Transport and Dispatching services for the Orlando campus. Optimizes efficiency, helps achieve the mission and goals of the department and Hospital, reduces costs, and results in outstanding customer service. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

• Responsible for managing departmental day-to-day operations. Oversees the Transportation and Dispatching services on the Orlando campus.
• Assists in the coordination of operational improvements.
• Collaborates with leadership to ensure Department(s) are strategically aligned with the organization's mission and the department is contributing in a positive manner to the patient experience.
• Regularly collaborates with Nursing and other ancillary departments to ensure timely turnaround times
• Coordinates staff compliance of all regulatory requirements (DNV, OSHA, CDC, etc.) for the department.
• Oversees overall staffing for assigned area. Ensures staffing is effective and efficient and promotes core values. Assures that staff is representative of the population diversity through oversight of recruitment, selection and retention of personnel

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare or related field
• Three (3) years of leadership and departmental operations experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Five (5) years of experience within an acute care hospital setting
• Master's degree in business, healthcare or related field (Preferred)
• Minimum five years of leadership experience in an acute care hospital setting (Preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Preferred)
• Certified Patient Transport Operations Manager (CPTOM) through National Association of Healthcare Transport Management (NAHTM) (Preferred)
