Overview

GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Senior .NET Developer in the Harrisburg, PAarea. This position can operate fully remote but must live within commuting distance of Harrisburg, PA.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions in accordance with requirements provided by the business and/or other areas within the IT organization.
• Design, develop, and implement scalable and robust software applications using .NET Core (version 6 or higher) and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to junior developers on a blended team with members from the client.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and excellence.
• Participate in project status and steering committee meetings, helping to manage the risks and issues to the project.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Required 8-10 years of application development experience with the following technologies: Microsoft .NET Core Framework (version 6 or Higher), Angular, Entity Framework, Typescript, JS, Bootstrap, RDBMS (SQL Server or Oracle), Rest API, Micro Services, Azure DevOps Pipeline, Adept in Azure/AWS Cloud Services, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL .
• Strong technical expertise in architecture design, system integration, and software development.
• Must possess a customer relationship building/client-focused, results-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to make strategic decisions while considering business implications and priorities.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices.
• Experience with Database design a plus.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Python.
