This Project Engineer leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, people management and troubleshooting for engineering projects " Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost. The selected candidate will have experience with missile and rocket manufacturing capabilities

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering design evaluations and works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints.
• Reviews industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Reviews reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine or address problems.
• Provides technical support for the engineering process.
• Designs, implements, and communicates, an operational plan for completing the project. Monitors progress and performance against the project plan.
• Takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
• Identifies, develops, and gathers resources necessary to complete the project.
• Prepares engineering designs and work specifications.
• Develops project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Selects materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors

Qualifications

E ducation:

• Associate's degree required
• Bachelor's degree preferred in General Engineering or specialized Engineering degree required

Experience Required:

• 10 to 12 years of experience.
