Cross-Category, Cross-Channel Marketing (XCM) Creative is the internal advertising team setting design and brand direction for Amazon's global brand. Our mission is to be the most customer-centric collective of creative thinkers, dreamers and doers. This manifests itself through visual design, branding, photography, video, social, digital, advertising and user experience design. We are responsible for branding and the creative development of style guides for the Amazon parent brand and collaborate with business partners around the world to support a wide range of devices, services, features, and retail categories. XCM is looking for an experienced producer to raise the creative bar on all types of media. The role will be responsible for working with creative teams to producing high quality video content (onsite and broadcast), experiential and for Amazon.com. Strong organization and communication skills are basic requirements, as well as the ability manage the expectations of our internal production partners and other stakeholders.

Note on Location: We are open to this role being located in New York, NY or Santa Monica, CA.

Key job responsibilities

- Strong knowledge of high-quality production resources

- Ability to remove roadblocks in the production process

- Collate individual project budgets into overall spend reporting

- Ensure all deliverables are meeting business partner expectations, including adherence to established timelines and budgets

- Provide leadership to producer team, driving production against the lens of Amazon's Leadership Principles and raising the creative bar

- Create budget controls to drive accuracy in forecasting and estimating

- Develop KPIs and report on the efficacy of the video producer team, drive improvements

- Communicate project statuses daily, flagging and troubleshooting potential issues

- Maintain a high degree of attention to detail when managing project planning efforts, scheduling and budgeting.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team experience

- Bachelor's degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote

- Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions

- Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery

- Experience managing creative (internal team of designers, copywriters, external agencies and freelancers)

- Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives

- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
