We are seeking a result-driven Senior Product Engineer to be our initial point of contact to collaborate with all business functions regarding product inquires for Marcone's HVAC lines. Our Senior Product Engineer will work in partnership with manufacturing, sales, marketing, and suppliers to solve product and supply chain challenges for our customers.

The person hired for this position will be required to work out of our Glen Mills, PA location.

What will you be doing?

  • Own technical and ERP system portions of continuous improvement, cost saving projects, custom product design. These duties include:
    • reviewing, evaluating, testing, and approving sourced products and components.
    • creating and/or editing bills of material and production routings.
    • determining the cost of in-house manufactured product and components.
    • the design and/or modification of products in SolidWorks for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Marcone teams to solve customer, production, application, and quality issues.
  • Educate engineering peers and other departments on products and processes.
  • Creates procedures/processes related to Sustaining Engineering functions.
  • Occasional domestic and international travel to customer and supplier locations.

What We Need From You
  • BS degree in Engineering & 7+ years' experience preferred.
  • Experience in 1 or more of these: HVAC design, thermodynamic analysis, heat transfer, cooling system design/analysis, etc...
  • 2D/3D CAD experience, SolidWorks is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in non-standardized situations.
  • Great communication skills with customers and peers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including TEAMS, Excel etc.
  • Strong skill in basic engineering measuring tools and practices.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with industrial manufacturing processes is a plus!
  • Must have or be able to obtain a US Passport.
  • Be comfortable occasionally wearing personal protective equipment such as safety shoes in warehouses & manufacturing areas as well as eye and ear protection inside the test laboratory.
  • May require reaching for, lifting, and carrying up to 25 pounds unassisted. Must be able to walk while carrying tools, parts, materials, bins, etc.
