Education:
Master's degree in Business or Health Administration Required
Work Experience:
Seven (7) to ten (10) years previous health care experience recommended. Supervisory / managerial experience required. Experience managing projects preferred. Work requires demonstrated experience in project management as acquired during 5 - 10 years of progressive experience.

Summary:
- Administers and manages, in conjunction with designated clinical leadership, the departmental clinical information technology initiatives and products.
- Co-chairs departmental information technology oversight committee.
- Manages compliance with departmental clinical information systems. This involves overseeing daily review of clinical charting to ensure proper levels of documentation and billing compliance. Facilitates clinical staff's utilization of IT system to foster compliance.
- Manages access to Departmental Clinical Information Systems database to ensure proper regulation of departmental data and adherence to proper protocols and regulations regarding data acquisition and use.
- Identifies, plans, and achieves operational and strategic clinical improvement opportunities.
- Advances organizational performance by utilizing a systems approach to analyzing processes, building relationships and facilitating change.
- Leads and facilitates organizational efforts for business process improvement, change management, systems redesign, integration, and solutions development, particularly as these efforts apply to departmental clinical information systems.
- Provides staff support in planning and organizing cross-functional unit and cross-entity activities and committees within Emergency Medicine and between various hospital services.
- Works with Emergency Medicine Administration, Clinical Director and Director of Nursing, and leadership throughout the hospital to develop and implement operating goals and objectives for the Department of Emergency Medicine.
Education:
