Insight Global is seeking a Senior Field Engineer to join a Civil Engineering Company located in Chesapeake, VA. The role is 100% on-site and the ideal candidate will be on-site 5 days a week. This person should come from a Heavy/Civil background. This position entails a few key responsibilities:

* Review project quantities and manage project quantity book

* Assist with cost report management, including JDEdwards manipulations

* Assist with project CPM management, including regular updates

* Manage major subcontracts and input quantities into JDE & Quantity Book

* Prepare pay estimates for major subcontracts

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications:

* BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

* Minimum 2 years' experience in constructions or as a field engineer

* Familiar with ITS, signage, and lighting.

* Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word

* Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

* Performs a variety of complicated tasks

* A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
