About the role: The Enterprise PMO (Project Management Office) Senior Project Manager will be part of a project management team supporting enterprise-wide projects across all areas of the organization. The selected individual must have excellent time management and organizational skills to function in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating independent work skills and a strong work ethic. They manage many medium to large projects with varying levels of complexity or multiple large projects of greater complexity. Budget responsibilities are based on project requirements. In addition, this role will assist with supporting the Enterprise Project Management Office goals and deliverables for the company.

Essential Functions:
  • Oversee and provide hands-on project management from inception to completion of multiple business unit and/or enterprise-wide projects varying in size and complexity
  • Establishes and monitors project requirements, priorities, and deadlines
  • Drives a project to completion by ensuring quality and timeliness of project results, by determining and managing activities of assigned project team
  • Ensures established schedule is adhered to as defined by project requirements
  • Strategically and tactfully determine resolutions to issues as they arise without direction
  • Anticipates, resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of Project Management standards, processes, and best practices and the value that it brings to an organization
  • Mentor project managers on Premise Health project management best practices and standards
  • Lead, manage and facilitate concurrent projects, while remaining flexible with changing priorities, time limits and scope of services required
  • Create a collaborative consultative work environment, with matrix teams and workgroups by building strong, cohesive teams
  • Build and maintain relationships with all levels of the organization by engaging leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives
  • Ability to assess and resolve conflicting priority situations or relationship conflicts among team members
  • Effectively communicate to stakeholders on progress of assigned projects, including project updates and escalating issues and risks to management as needed
  • Maximize productivity through leadership skills and competencies
  • Demonstrate professional communication skills when interacting on behalf of Premise Health


Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) OR a High School Diploma/GED/associate degree and equivalent work experience
  • PMI (Project Management Institute) ® PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required
  • Six Sigma green belt or Six Sigma black belt, or willingness to become Six Sigma certified, preferred
  • 7+ years of project management experience leading projects of all sizes and complexity
  • ServiceNow SPM experience preferred
  • Healthcare/IT experience preferred
  • Experience communicating directly with clients at the senior level preferred
  • Experience with working with a variety of business units including, but not limited to, marketing and communications, member engagement, operations, IT, software development, and process design


Preferred Experience:
  • Advanced knowledge with project management scheduling tools (MS Project, Service Now Strategic Portfolio Management, etc.)
  • Strong familiarity with lean and agile principles are considered a plus
  • Outstanding time management, organizational, and attention to detail at both individual and team levels
  • Outstanding communication skills: technical, nontechnical, verbal, written and presentation
  • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Office 2010 or later, including MS Visio: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to work with autonomously, be accountable, and take initiative
  • Proven ability taking a concept from idea to completion
  • Able to handle ambiguity with a strategic mindset and apply tactically
  • Ability to apply project management and/or software development methodologies and practices, including developing a project plan, charter, scope, project management approach and management plans, such as the statement of work, cost estimates, and schedule
  • Ability to present and report on project plans to appropriate stakeholders

While a number of factors influence salary, our estimated California, Colorado, Washington, and New York compensation is $90,000 - $106,500.
