Privately held multi-entity organization in the Auburn, WA area, is currently seeking a Senior Property Accountant. This pivotal role will involve overseeing financial accounting functions for a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties, investment accounting, and fund accounting.

Responsibilities:
  • The selected candidate will prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • They will be responsible for executing monthly and quarterly financial tasks, including general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations, and accruals.
  • The role entails compiling financial statements for various entities under the firm's management.
  • The candidate will uphold the integrity of the accounting system and lead process enhancements where needed.
  • Prepare reporting and budges for investment holdings and joint venture partnerships.
  • Building strong partnerships with the operations team, property managers, and upper management is a key aspect of this role.


Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is prerequisite.
  • A minimum 4 years of GAAP and financial statement experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a penchant for organization and teamwork, are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is expected.
