JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer

LOCATION: 11000 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)

DUTIES: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Duties include: Create micro-services, implement telemetry solutions, and build CI/CD pipelines on public cloud; Design and build re-usable libraries and components; Design and implement product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders; Operate source control systems; Build, test, and improve the application deployment pipeline leveraging programs; Write data extraction, manipulation, cleansing, and transformation formulas; and Own and manage specification, Agile and Sprint updates on RallySoftware; and Design, develop, test, and release complex distributed software. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology Management, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related computer occupation. Position requires two (2) years of experience in the following:

• Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, Prometheus and Graffana;
• Java, Spring Boot, Kotlin, Hibernate, Git , Rest and Soap API development;
• Cassandra DB and MysqlDB;
• Tomcat and JBoss;
• Maven and Gradle; and
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.

RATE OF PAY: $103,605 - $176,417 / per year
