Key Responsibilities:

The Change Management Senior Specialist directly or indirectly supports frontline field leaders and employees in the adoption of new tools, technologies and processes. As a contributing team member working on above-the-wing or below-the-wing portfolio projects, this individual will be involved in a variety of large and small work streams.



This role supports the Airport Operations (AO) organization in end-to-end change management, from researching and interpreting data that drives organizational change management strategies to project management to tactical change activities throughout the system. Works closely with key collaborators to ensure United's Airport Operations organization is prepared to deliver phenomenal customer service to our travelers around the world every day.



It is essential that this role establish and maintain strong business relationships with both senior and operating level business leaders, including our frontline coworkers, and be a key collaborate with the business.

  • Support leadership and front line employees in the field to develop a network of in-house change management expertise through professional development, regular correspondence and resource support
  • Develop and implement detailed change management, stakeholder engagement and communication plans for small to large scale projects
  • Organize and execute change activities and events in the field
  • Manage timelines, resource allocation and budget for change programs
  • Create and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Prepare dashboards and report-outs to share project progress with stakeholders and leaders
  • Support transition from project activities to business-as-usual operations at the end of each change project

Qualifications

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • 3+ years of work experience in communications, marketing or airports related role
  • Knowledge working with Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with others
  • Demonstrated strength in business writing and communications
  • 20-50% travel or as needed
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position


What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Experience in designing or facilitating change management work flows, collaboration and/or support
  • Proficiency with Vengage and other change management tools
  • Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Quantitative and qualitative research methods, data collection & analysis and data visualization
  • Ability to interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and providing ongoing reports
  • Preferred certification in Change Management methodologies (e.g. Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, Certified Change Management Professional™ (CCMP™)) with program level experience in leading strategy/execution of Change Management deliverables, across multiple workstreams
