Responsible for:
  • Support of design for manufacturing and test activities
  • Identify critical-to-yield process parameters and specifications throughout the design review prior to drawing release and downstream manufacture
  • Attend, participate and support design review meetings in detailed engineering design reviews as required
  • Generation of manufacturing integration and test work instructions supporting both IRAD and deliverable hardware
  • Design of tooling/test fixtures and test sets for support of circuit card build/test
  • Manufacturing/integration of RF Circuit Card Assemblies on SMT lines
  • Integrating and testing critical RF receive/transmit components and RF/Antenna assemblies into systems
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving Sytems issues related to but not limited to Power Amplifiers, Converters, Modems, and complete RF Chains
  • Collaborating and consulting with cross functional technical teams at L3Harris to include but not limited to Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Quality Engineering, and subject matter experts in the areas of Environmental Stress screening (ESS) and Electromagnetic interference (EMI)
  • Creating, reviewing, and updating formal test procedures, engineering documentation, and Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM) for completeness.
  • Coordinating, and participating in all internal approvals for any Integration and Test deliverables that are required by the Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Developing Basis of Estimates (BOE) in support of Manufacturing and System Integration and Test proposal efforts.
  • Leading a multidiscipline manufacturing and test team through a complex development program
  • Ensuring the proper execution of integration and test activities in the presence of customers and L3Harris Quality Engineering representatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Hands-on in the manufacturing of electronics for high reliability military and government systems is preferred
  • Working knowledge of IPC/J-STD workmanship requirements. Specifically, IPC-A600, IPC-6012/6013, as well as MIL-Spec-55110 and MIL-Spec-31032
  • Deep knowledge of common PCB electronic packaging details including surface finishes, plating, lamination and stack-up best practices
  • Knowledge with root cause and corrective action analysis tools manufacturing process problems, workmanship defects, mechanical test failures, etc
  • Experience working with manufacturing of circuit card assemblies
  • Experience testing Antennas and integrated RF Systems
  • Experience with RF test equipment (power meters, Oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers)
  • Experience writing BOEs
  • Experience developing automated test equipment (LabView)
  • Experience developing test plans for entire development cycle from Circuit cards to full system
  • Experience working with vibration tables and thermal chambers/controllers
  • Integrated Product Team Lead experience a bonus
  • Proior SATCOM experience a bonus
  • Excellent organizational and record keeping skills
  • Ability to perform work under general supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office® applications to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Possess or have the ability to obtain U.S. DoD Secret Clearance or higher
