Responsibilities could include the following:
  • Oil & Gas industry engineering design, procurement, and construction
  • Knowledge of regulatory codes such as ASME and DNV.
  • Awareness of safety in the design, construction, and operation of pipelines
  • Subsea controls systems along with subsea topside controls.
  • Pipeline fluid flow rate and volume calculations
  • Wall thickness calculations and relevant variables for pipe selection
  • Buoyancy control for pipeline installation
  • Directional drill design (HDD) and other crossing methods for pipelines
  • Pipeline right-of-way requirements and mitigation of barriers for acquisition
  • Knowledge of pipeline alignment sheets
  • Preparation of equipment specifications and data sheet creation
  • Familiarity of field procedures for pipeline construction, purging, packing, dehydrating
  • Pipeline internal inspection, anomaly repairs, and pipeline integrity management
  • Awareness of surveying, environmental issues for permitting and construction
  • Knowledge of drawing requirements for station layouts, piping plans, PFD's and P&ID's
  • Specification of compressors, pumps, motors, metering, fluid storage and piping
  • Familiarity of RFQ's, construction bid documents, and bid evaluations
  • Development of project scopes, execution plans, cost estimates and scheduling


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in graduate in Ocean, Civil, Materials. Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical Engineering or related engineering field
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Ability to work effectively in teams
  • Ability to communicate well with team members and clients
  • Relevant pipeline experience
