About this team

The Global Supply Chain Portfolio team supports portfolio management, transformation & operations for Upstream Supply Chain and Global Fulfillment Technology. The organization is responsible for +$70M in capital delivery and has +400 people in it.

This team is responsible for overseeing portfolio practices to enable program managers under each team. We are also the central source of information for timely and relevant communication of enterprise activities like annual and strategic planning, dependency management, quarterly planning etc.

The team is evolving to take responsibility for a large portfolio transformation which is required to elevate people, process & technology through consistent delivery frameworks, capacity planning, budget management, dependency management & portfolio reporting.

The team also enables operational activities such organization strategy, financial management & analysis, workforce planning & labour strategy, partner relationships (EPPM, P&C, Procurement, FP&A & more). The goal of this work is to simplify and enable managers and directors in Global Supply Chain Technology and provide more time and insights to elevate their programs and portfolios.

A day in the life:
The ideal candidate will have a history of demonstrated results supporting small to mid-size cross-functional teams to accomplish technology projects across matrixed organizations. They must thrive in fast-paced environments, be able to manage through ambiguity and complexity, create and simplify processes, and support the project that impacts a growing global organization.

This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills while coordinating leadership team activities to support the team.

Financial Reporting, Program budget management support & Analysis:
  • Builds and maintains reporting for portfolio leaders and department leadership team
    • Implements enhancements as requested by leadership
    • Supports with ad hoc reporting and insight requests as needed
  • Constantly monitor and analyze financial reporting for portfolio, review data, Investigate and validate forecast spikes
    • Monitor future risks to forecast/budget/actuals etc.
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings/ process improvements
    • Use report to dig into forecasted costs and work with PMs to address any concerns prior to fiscal month lock
    • Use report to ensure forecast accuracy for all expense types
  • Prepare budget overviews for project and portfolio management and effectively communicate deviations if they occur
  • Validate data in CAPEX report and work with portfolio team to get insight into variances
  • Support Program Managers in reviewing, auditing and maintaining program financials, including:
    • Updating forecasts and loading month end actuals
    • Analyzing actuals vs forecast and reviewing recommendations for adjustments where applicable
    • Auditing budget trackers for formula errors and fixing where applicable
  • Facilitate monthly budget meetings to review budget trackers prior to fiscal period lock
  • Facilitate monthly budget meetings to update Portfolio and Program Managers on current financial standing
  • Support portfolio team with the adoption of a new budget management tool (SPM)
    • Become subject matter expert on how to use SPM
    • Support in training project managers as needed
    • Help teams transition into using the new tool - cutover from excel trackers into SPM, etc.
  • Coordination and verification of weekly timesheets for all team members, follow-up if necessary
    • Run reports in time tracking software to ensure contract and FTE resources are submitting and approved timely and accurately in accordance to PMO guidelines
  • Monitor and analyze internal resource reports
    • Monitor portfolio resource labour forecast across budget trackers
    • Compare FTE labour forecast documents and reports with budget trackers
    • Ensure Project Managers are updating any resource discrepancies in a timely manner, prior to fiscal period lock
  • Support PO creation and management

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience CS/CIS, finance, business administration, or other related field
  • Experience working with or in a technology organization, specifically driving communication and delivery strategies from either an agile or project level
  • Well versed in all Microsoft Office tools with skillset in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Experience creating deliverables (in excel or PowerPoint) for communication
  • Proven success with task ownership and efficiency in communication & collaboration

Compensation and Benefits Package

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is from$81,100 - $101,400 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program , subject to program eligibility requirements.

This role is classified as Hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy:
In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
