GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Provide requirement guidance to the Engineering Department as well as supporting the Application Engineering departments to ensure compliance with current and future customer requirements in support of engineering goal and objectives.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards.
Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors.
Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary.
Ability to adhere to workplace rules.
Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
Must have the ability obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
BS in related engineering discipline
8+ years of related engineering experience
Experience with the following software/programs: AutoCAD, 3D modeling, electrical wiring software, DOORS software
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites products
Solid understanding of Electrical Engineering fundamentals and electrical subsystems
Solid understanding of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals, Mechanical design, and Manufacturing processes.
-Advanced of Professional degree or certification preferred
WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be willing to travel domestically up to 10%.
Office environment.
Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.
Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones).
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds

- Responsible for requirement management and compliance of a given program.
- Provides support to meet Engineering schedules and budgets in coordination with Program Managers.
- Contributes to providing direction and guidance of Engineering personnel to ensure the ability of the department to meet requirements of current and future program requirements.
- Provides support to ensure quality, productivity, and innovation in new product design.
- Maintains on-going communication with customer and team leads to accomplish program goals through Systems Engineering.
- Provides Engineering Estimates and Applications Engineering support for quotes as needed.
