Job Description

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

General tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Assist in coordinating the procurement of data and utilizing this data in the preparation of workpapers needed for:
• • Wage Index - Invoice Support
  • PS&R selected settlement data
  • Selected Cost Rates
  • Indirect Federal Cost Rate
  • America's Essential Hospitals Annual Survey
  • American Hospital Association Survey
  • Greater New York Monthly Utilization Report
• Assist in the coordination and preparation of deliverables (Analysis) for external auditors and consultants related;
  • DSH Audits
  • FQHC Audits
  • Bad Debt and Charity Care Audits
• Participate in special projects in support of the Finance Division.

Minimum Qualifications
1. A Baccalaureate Degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university; and,
2. Two years of experience in business, government, hospital, educational or a non-profit organization in analysis, development and implementation of systems and sub-systems. Familiarity with EDP applications and data processing programs; or,
3. A Masters Degree in Management, Business Administration or approved related fields from an accredited college or university may be equated to a maximum of one year of related experience; or,
4. A satisfactory combination of education, training and experience.

EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:

• College Degree in Accounting

KNOWLEDGEABLE IN:

• Analytical worksheet preparation
