Senior Systems Engineer/Analyst

Work Location : Fort Eustis, VA

Cape Fox is seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team in support of a government customer. This position is contingent upon award. Proven ability to work independently or under only general direction on complex application problems involving all phases of systems analysis is required. This position is dependent on contract award.

Core Duties:

• Data collection and assessment, operations research, sustainment, logisticians, and other operational disciplines specified at the TO level essential to the support requirements set forth in this performance-based work statement
• General experience includes increasing responsibilities in assignments of a technical nature
• Proven understanding and application of Government documentation standards
• Proven ability to work independently or under only general direction on complex application problems involving all phases of systems analysis is required
• Develop audiovisual and networking designs to support classroom training
• Develop and prepare documents in support of electrical designs and implementation
• Develop hardware and software interfaces to support classroom infrastructures, engineering, and power schematics for classroom system architectures
• Develop specifications for digital technologies, and networking, for compatibility, interoperability, and scalability

Requirements :

• Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering in a recognized scientific, technical, business, or other related discipline
• Minimum of 6 years' experience, of which at least 3 years must be specialized (i.e., specialized experience includes analysis and design of audio/visual hardware solutions on complex systems for educational venues such as classrooms and educational laboratories)
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to formulate specifications for CAD engineers for use in designing A/V installation plans
• General experience includes increasing responsibilities in assignments of a technical nature
• Proven understanding and application of Government documentation standard
• Demonstrated experience with development of audiovisual and networking designs to support classroom training
• Experience in developing and preparing documents in support of electrical designs and implementation
• Experience developing hardware and software interfaces to support classroom infrastructures, engineering, and power schematics for classroom system architectures
• Ability to develop specifications for digital technologies, networking, for compatibility, interoperability, and scalability
• Must be capable of working independently
• Must be able to use technology briefings, documents, web sites, and related system information
• Must be familiar with and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2013/2016 and earlier products to include Outlook/Word/Excel/Visio
• SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain and maintain at least a Secret Security Clearance. Active Security Clearance is desired.
• Must have the authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
