POSITION SUMMARY
To be fully engaged in providing Quality/No Harm, Customer Experience, and Stewardship. The System Vice President, Facilities, Real Estate & Construction is responsible for developing and managing executive relationships within Health First and its affiliates for facilities management, real estate and construction. Be accountable to lead, direct and execute all related programs and strategies that are essential to the clinical, non-clinical and financial positioning of Health First. Works collaboratively with project executives in the planning and execution of all building projects and major renovations. Leads all capital budgeting, planning and the execution of those budgets that require construction, real estate or operational support. Investigates all capital budgets to determine if they require construction, real estate or operational support. Spearheads facilities and construction related improvement initiatives, establishes enterprise-wide maintenance and facility planning, manages challenging space issues, and adjusts the operational expense budget in these areas.

Health First Executive Leader responsible for, and having the authority to, ensure compliance with TJC, County, AHCA, CMS, OSHA, NFPA and all other applicable regulatory organizations. Health First Executive Leader for the system's environment of care program and the compliance with the environment of care standards, life safety standards, and applicable leadership standards.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Provide leadership and direction for all aspects of construction throughout the organization Oversee plant and facilities operations ensuring that all facilities meet applicable regulations.
2. Lead facilities management initiatives and projects, both short and long-term projects..
3. Work with directors in the areas of facilities and construction to guarantee that issues are communicated and coordinated with the appropriate Health First leaders.
4. Provide executive leadership for all aspects of the Health First Real Estate portfolio to include managing the long-range planning and operations for all designated facilities including preventive, predictive and normal maintenance.
5. Ensure that the capital project management, facilities and construction management processes enable the organization to complete projects on time and within budget while effectively protecting Health First's interests in capital projects and, working collaboratively with key stakeholders, ensure appropriate fiscal controls for capital projects.
6. Assure Health First's adherence enterprise-wide for all regulatory compliance including, but not limited to HIPPA, OSHA and the Joint Commission as they pertain to facilities and construction.
7. Develop continuous improvements in Health First facilities maintenance and construction project plan programs to drive quality and performance improvements enterprise wide.
8. Work with facilities team to collaborate effectively with clinical and operations leaders to assure our facilities optimize our customers' and patients' experience at Health First.
9. Partner with operations leaders to assure our facilities support efficient workflows.
10. Develop, analyze and manage capital and operating budgets, and also sustain compliance relating to quality care and cost-effective care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Education: Master's degree in business, healthcare administration or related field
• Licensure: None
• Certification: None
• Work Experience:
o 10 years of strategic planning experience with progressive leadership responsibility including experience leading a team
o Program Management Office (PMO) experience within the healthcare industry, with experience managing complex initiatives
• Work Experience in lieu of Education: None
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
o Possesses a deep understanding of the healthcare industry landscape, key trends, and strategic drivers
o Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret market and organizational intelligence to enable data-driven decision making for strategy
o Exhibits strong collaboration skills and ability to bring together stakeholder groups to further a common goal
o Exudes an executive presence and able to effectively participate on the senior executive team
o Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships across the organization and drive outcomes across competing priorities
o Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Ability to influence processes and decisions even in the absence of direct authority
o Experience with mergers and acquisitions, including the development of business cases, roadmap development, change management and integration planning, and project management
o Exhibits significant critical thinking skills (able to "connect the dots" among various concepts when the connection is unclear) and able to develop related strategies
o Ability to effectively manage a team responsible for a large portfolio of projects with competing priorities
