Service Technician

Volt is immediately hiring for a Service Technician in the Roebuck & Wellford, SC areas.

As a Service Technician, you will:

• Be responsible for ordering and placement of material into the management systems assigned
• Ensure that a quality level of service exists which is consistent with our ISO Certification
• Re-label bins as needed, following Feeder Bin System where appropriate.
• Place orders - scanning parts below the re-order point
• Scan parts in safety stock
• Fill out Service Reports after each delivery.
• Fill out Corrective Action Worksheet as necessary.
• Communicate Account requests and needs to Customer Relations Rep or Account Manager
• Make changes to the system as directed
• Perform Work Cell Audits as directed
• Other duties may be assigned

This is a full-time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• OSHA certification in forklift and pallet jack
• Ability to go to 2 locations within the area
• Mathematical skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
• Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Computer/System Skills
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Safety Awareness
• One-year certificate from college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training.

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
