Insight Global is seeking a highly experienced Senior ServiceNow Administrator who is a SAM and HAM Subject Matter Expert to support the Infrastructure Request Management team of one of their top clients. This role involves leading the implementation and maintenance of ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) modules, developing and maintaining profiles for IT Asset Management, and monitoring and managing software and hardware inventory to ensure compliance with licensing agreements and minimize costs. A successful candidate will conduct regular audits of software contracts to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate inventory records, provide technical expertise for asset ingestion in the Alliant CMDB, and analyze asset data to identify trends for better Life Cycle Management. This role requires someone embedded in the software operational teams, capable of implementing and maintaining ServiceNow and SAM Pro. They will be responsible for getting data into the system, ensuring licenses and titles are properly managed, and maintaining compliance on the SAM side. Starting from scratch, this position focuses primarily on SAM, handling request management, and working with incoming requests through the ServiceNow portal. The candidate will build out all aspects of license assignment, tracking, and disposition throughout the full lifecycle. Additionally, they will develop catalog items, enhance the employee center, and upgrade the portal for software requests, replacing the previous Service Portal. The goal is to streamline processes to the point of self-sufficiency, although ongoing changes in software and licensing schemes will always provide new challenges. The candidate should proactively seek out tasks and opportunities to expand their ServiceNow expertise, collaborating with various teams working on ServiceNow.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of 7 years of experience in implementing IT asset management tools in ServiceNow
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Expertise in Software Contract Agreements and Compliance requirements
Strong understanding of ServiceNow SAM, HAM, and CMDB.
Extensive experience in developing and maintaining IT Asset Management policies, procedures, and processes

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

ServiceNow certification in SAM and HAM - Very strong plus/Almost a Requirement, would trade for experience
Experience in leading and mentoring a team
Exceptional Communication Skills
