The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD ("The HARRIS CENTER") is looking for a Site Coordinator to join our team. Under supervision, the HCS Site Coordinator provides technical assistance to the team that consists of all residential staff, case management, medical staff and administration. The HCS Site Coordinator assist with ensuring that daily service delivery provided by the direct care team, case management team and medical team is in accordance with the definitions of the HCS Service Definitions and Billing Guidelines and include the specified elements.

Your role in action:
  • Oversees direct care staff.
  • Coordinates shift coverage schedules.
  • Apprises administration of available community resources.
  • Monitors services provided to consumer by program staff.
  • Retrieves/files required state agency documents.
  • Directs transportation services for consumers. Provides consumer transportation is required.
  • Meets all required educational training requirements in accordance with agency standards.
  • Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations for HCS consumers role in action:
  • Maintains unit supply inventory if required.
  • Ensures that staff is in compliance with state agency documentation requirements.
  • Has the ability to maintain financial record-keeping system for consumers and monitors bank accounts.
  • Assist in the coordination and ensures completion of medical appointments and recreational activities for consumers.
  • Perform other duties assigned.
  • Submits reports as required.


What qualifications you will need:

Education:
  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)


Experience:

  • Must have (2) years related experience and be able to transport in agency or personal vehicle.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and provide administrative on call d


Other Key Qualifications :

  • Must maintain a valid Texas Driver's License and be insurable under Agency policy.


Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be able to interact effectively within the organization.
  • The person must have organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate efficient customer service skills.
  • Must possess leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • The person must be able to demonstrate knowledge of state agency's guidelines and standards.
