• Ensure uptime on production and non-production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health.
• Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications.
• Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of applications.
• Measure and optimize system infrastructure performance, pushing capabilities forward, getting ahead, and innovating for continual improvement.
• Provide primary operational support and engineering for production software engineering applications.
• Partner with development teams to build and maintain required infrastructure to support application and environments.

Participate in scrums to understand the infrastructure and release requirements.

Pay rate: 55-60/hr

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a large scale 24/7 production environments.
• Ability to follow established processes and workflows to ensure that all work is completed following best practices.
• Configuration management and Infrastructure as Code (example: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, CloudFormation)
• CI/CD (Jenkins / GitLab)
• Networking (Load Balancing, Routing, Security Groups, VPC, Subnetting)
• Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, RedHat)
• Containerization and related technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• Cloud Platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) - understand diff cloud services within AWS
• Experience with Monitoring Solutions like New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana
• Logging solution like ELK, Splunk or cloudwatch
• Scripting / System-Programming (Python, Go, Bash, Java, Node)
• Good verbal and written communication skills, comfortable communicating with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Ability to understand large complex software systems and their interdependencies.

Experience in Broadcast domain and maintaining infrastructure and tools for broadcast solutions
