Job Title: Site Support Technician (Onsite)

Location: Frederick, MD.
Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and fix for various IT systems to ensure smooth operation.
• Be responsible for the installation configuration and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Monitor system performance and implement necessary updates to optimize efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations processes and procedures.
• Ensure data security and integrity by implementing appropriate measures and protocols.
• Deliver training and support to end-users to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
• Participate in the development and execution of disaster recovery plans.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements.
• Work closely with vendors and service providers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Supply to the continuous improvement of IT processes and systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Possess a solid understanding of Field Services and related technologies.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Exhibit good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Show proficiency in hardware and software installation and maintenance.
• Have experience with system monitoring and performance optimization.
• Display knowledge of data security and integrity measures.
• Be capable of working collaboratively in a team environment.
• Show ability to develop and maintain user documentation.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with industry trends.
• Have experience in providing technical support and training to end-users.
• Be familiar with disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Exhibit strong organizational and time-management skills.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 09/08/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $ 50,000.00 - $ 59,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
